Kamilah is currently involved as the Co-Producer for the Peabody award-winning show “Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Poetry Jam” and assistant director to the Tony award-winning Broadway tour “Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry Jam.” Her innovative work with the non-profit theater company for which she is the founder and Artistic Director is key to maintaining a valuable voice and vision for this generation.
